Joel,
The Amish punish rapists and pedophiles by 6 weeks of shunning and then no one is to ever speak of it again.
Nothing is ever done to actually prevent it from happening again.
In my case.
Everytime I told.
Everytime the perpetrators were disciplined.
Everything got worse.
The physical and mental trauma worsened from the same perpetrators.
I repeat nothing is done to prevent the abuse from happening again.
People who believe like you are part of the problem. You are complicit and believe that they can "govern" themselves.
They do not have the resources or skills needed to actually solve these terrible cases.
Kindly, I ask you to remove the stick from your eye before you become completely blinded.
