Meet Mary Byler
Mary Byler was born Old Order Amish (Abe Troyer). Mary founded The Misfit Amish in 2021 and manages it to bridge the cultural gaps between Amish, Anabaptist and English Culture. Part of that involves bringing visibility to LGBTQ Amish and Anabaptists.
Mary has an intense love for nature, photographs and writing.
Mary enjoys creating things such as paintings, crafts and designing and sewing clothes.
On summer days you might find Mary camping, hiking or burning a fire.
This quilt is one of the best projects I have had the pleasure of creating, I love it and it keeps me warm!
